Internationally renowned American dance theatre company MOMIX presents Lunar Sea, showing for the very first time at the Liverpool Empire Theatre especially for the Capital of Culture year

Artistic Director Moses Pendleton's stunning show has already wowed and beguiled audiences of all ages across the world with its 'black and white ballet'. In Lunar Sea dancers transform into fluorescent figures, floating above the stage, ungoverned by gravity. This magical monochrome world where swimming through space looks as easy as staying on the ground, features projections and puppets by Michael Curry (from the creative team of Disney's The Lion King).
