The first section of the Williamson Tunnels is now open to the general public. Visiting the Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre, everyone can now enjoy a guided tour of the famous 'double tunnel' and south tunnel, with an opportunity to relax in the new cafe bar under one of Williamson's famous arches. Visitors can see and touch the brick and sandstone workings of this key section of the tunnels, whilst enjoying an entertaining commentary from an expert guide. |
